Vineyards
Sangiovese and Vermentino, grape varieties typically found in this area, account for nearly 80% of our production.
The company’s young age has given us the opportunity to experiment with other varietals our agronomists suggested could thrive in the area, namely Syrah and Cabernet Franc.
Merlot and Petit Verdot are also present in our vineyards, contributing to the fragrance and elegance of our Poggio Bestiale.
Our newest additions is the Ansonica, a white grape particularly suited for the coastal area of Mount Argentario and the Tuscan archipelago.
Ansonica shows mediterranean features, typical of a territory that has grown past its exclusiveness for red wines.
The 52 hectares of our vineyards spread over three areas: Colle Sterpeti, the hill where the agritourism and its cellars are found, Vigna Tizzi, and the magnificent Poggio Bestiale.
